By using Stone, you can add a bonus to a weapon or armor. Numbers of Stones that can be inserted depends on the number of slots item has. You can put only one type of Stone to one item.
• Number of slots in weapons:
1-20lvl - 1 slot
25-40lvl - 2 slots
45-105lvl - 3 slots
Tip: Antique Bell is exception - it has 3 slots.
• Number of slots in armors:
1-18lvl - 1 slot
26-42lvl - 2 slots
48-105lvl - 3 slots
All Stones +0, +1 and +2 can be used to make make refined ores.
You can get Stones from all metins from 25 to 70lvl, except the metins in: Devil's Catacombs, Demon Tower and Dragon's Lair.
To put the Stone into item, the item have to have free slot. If the slot is broken, it has to be cleaned before adding the Stone.
To clean broken stones from items, you can:
• Upgrade item - after every upgrades slots are cleaned

• Use 
Advanced Revoker
You can use Blue Dragon Breath 
to increase the success chance while upgrading Stone from +4 to +5.
